Let me preface by saying that I’m a College Basketball junkie. It’s my favorite sport, hands down. The NBA is ok, but not my type of basketball. I’ve downloaded a few of the scenarios for a “College Hoops” experience, and they have ALL left me rather disappointed. Be it really whack player ratings and tendencies, uniforms and accessory colors not matching (drives me insane when a team in an away jersey has a white undershirt), playbooks that don’t utilize team’s best players, or have the weakest players being the center of the offense. Or these “freshman” players that are 90 overall, but in reality don’t even start, and are still learning the game at that level. Not to mention, unrealistic sim stats, and using NBA rules. About a month ago, I set out to create the most realistic College Basketball experience for NBA 2K25. I created 36 teams, and used current stats, previous stats and best guess future projections. I’ve watched at least one game from each of the 36 teams (a lot more for some other teams) I created to get a good sense of what they run and what players roles are on these teams. I also updated hairstyles and accessories, which I know change often, but it gave me a good base for what they actually wore the game I watched. Also, the stats when you sim. I can’t stand when a player that’s an All-American is the 4th leading scorer on his team with 6 Pts a game. It just kills the immersion for me. All-Americans should perform like All-Americans. You should have to make adjustments so they don’t kill you. I’ve put well over 100 hours into this (got laid off and wanted a break for the Holidays, so I did this project). This is the result, and is by far the best College Hoops experience I’ve ever had on NBA 2K for consoles. I felt like there are probably other people out there who would appreciate this. Here is what it includes:
Over 460 created players with accurate faces, bodies, accessories, hairstyles, ratings and tendencies.
Created courts to include accurate logos, and created scoreboards for each team (for instance Baylor has Baylor scoreboards and Big 12 scoreboards). Multiple different scoreboards, not just the same 2 repeating over and over.
Named all coaches, and created as accurate styles as I could with the 2K limits. Also put coach lookalikes for all 36 coaches.
Used 30 All-Time teams, and 6 NBA teams with the least retired numbers so players have accurate numbers.
College Rules. 10 minute quarters, no defensive 3 seconds, 30 second shot clock, 5 personal foul foul-outs, and get into the bonus at 4 team fouls (best I could do, it was either that or 3).
Also ensured every player’s “Years Pro” is accurate, meaning 0=Freshman, 1=Sophomore, etc. This will gave All-Freshman Teams (Rookie) and Freshman of the Year (Rookie of the Year) realism.
35 game season and single game elimination playoffs.
I included sliders as well, but they will be based on skill level, however when I play teams shoot fairly accurate FG and 3P% and the games feels more like college and less like the NBA. Removed a lot of ISOs in the NCAA playbooks I created. Also, I find I have to make adjustments or star players will light me up, or my offense will become stagnant.
Teams are in alphabetical order when scrolling through, so teams are easy to find.
I’ve been playing games and tweaking for the last couple weeks, and I think it’s at a point where I’m ready to release it. ( My GF will be happy).

*****IMPORTANT**** The stats for teams/players you’re not controlling are realistic. If you mess with settings, i.e. Sim games=12 minutes, the stats will not be accurate. It is meant to be played in 10 minute quarters/ and the SIM stats are for 12 minute quarters. This will give accurate PPG, etc for teams you’re not controlling.

Here is a video I made that shows off a little bit of the features. I have also tweaked the ratings of many players and teams since this video, so if you see an inaccurate rating, it has probably been changed in the updated scenario.

I hope it okay, I converted your MYNBA Scenarion into a Play Now roster. I have a youtube channel where I highlight 2K content both official and custom and would like to feature this roster.

I just want to get as much exposure for you as possible as this is the best college roster I have seen so far

I fixed the team names for Uconn and Wisconsin as well as removed all the current/historic/gleague teams so only the college teams show in the play now menu under the current teams.

^I hope you will be allowed to do this Pete, because Play Now is superior to Scenario in my opinion.
I downloaded a good college scenario on 2K23 but of course will not be able to use it anymore after this calendar year. I and many other people do prefer Play Now rosters.

That's awesome man. This is perfect as a play now roster for people wanting to jump in. Awesome work, and thanks for the credit. Exposure is a good thing, so as many people as possible can enjoy this. Well done sir, and thanks for the kind words.

Coming from a guy who looks for visual detail and accuracy, I must say that this roster is legit.

Over the years, I've read various threads claiming to have accurate player likenesses in baseball, basketball, boxing and football rosters, only to be disappointed after seeing multiple inaccuracies on obvious star players (*there's one minor detail that almost every creator misses in college basketball rosters but you got it right). That’s why I’ve come to favor certain creators like MJWizards and ptsports84 in basketball, ATG in baseball, etc because they never disappoint.

What you said in your original post is proven in your roster, and it shows that you not only spent time creating the roster, but you also spent time prepping for it as well.
