So I was getting frustrated with 2k25 and decided to install 2k23 because I liked it the best of all the ERA's versions and had the most fun with it.

When I went into load an old file, since it's no longer online everything was gone. Even my saved rosters and old MyLeague Files. Frustrating to say the least that I can't even go back into old season files or pull the rosters I thought were downloaded to my profile and not just on the 2k servers. I am assuming there has to be a way to save these files so it's not directly tied to the servers. At least I am hoping there. is.

So due to the fact that if I had to choose between 2k24 and 2k25 I'd take 24 plus MJWizards did multiple roster sets I was hoping someone could tell me how to save these files so they'd still be accessible after the servers shutdown. Please tell me there is a way.

On a side note I added 2k16 to PSPlus when it was on there back in the day and was playing a little bit over my lunch break. For Real Player% and Single Player Sim gameplay it is so much better for my gameplay style than the current versions which is crazy. It was making me wish they would sell just updated rosters for old games like they used to do back in the day when i was a kid. Ala Strat-O-Matic style where you could order seasons. I used to do it with Earl Weaver Baseball.

On console, you can only customize branding (logos, jerseys, courts, etc.) on 3 teams (IIRC) without tethering your save to the servers. Anything beyond that and your save will die when the servers do. PC doesn’t have this limitation, but it’s a thing on console, so you should avoid branding changes on any save you may care about long term.

If your old stuff didn’t over-customize though and it’s just straight up gone now, then it just sounds like you allowed your console to delete the game’s user data, which means deleting your saves and stuff. I think it would’ve stayed on 2K Share, but now 2K23 Share is gone.

There’s nothing stopping you from playing MyNBA/Eras on 2K23 offline now though. You just don’t have access to stuff that was on 2K Share and can’t have as many branding customizations.

Thanks. I know I can still play it but it takes a bunch away for me when big name players aren’t in the teams like Andrew Toney on Sixers, No Barkley, No Miller for example.

I had rosters from that year and had seasons already started and was hoping to jump back in . I don’t do any branding customization or anything but those rosters may have.
