True Blue: Indianapolis Colts Official Team Thread

I have high hopes for the boys this season. Having Marvin and Dwight back feels really good. However, I'm definitely a little upset about the loss of Jeff Saturday. He's a big piece of our offense and his presence will definitely be missed. Hopefully he will be back in 6 weeks, but either way we should be fine. I just want him to do whatever is neccessary to keep him him healthy. His replacement will have some big shoes to fill.

With all that being said, let's make that Super Bowl march! The AFC South gets more competitive every year. This should be a great season of football.

Is there any room for me in here? I can't watch the Bengals anymore because of their owner. I hate him. The Colts have been my #2 team ever since Eric Dickerson was traded to them. I decided after today's Bengals/Ravens game to get into the Colts more.

The Bengals are just Colts Lite. You've made a wise choice.

After getting torched for over 180 yards on the ground, I'm a little concerned about what Adrian Peterson is gonna do this week. I'm sure Tavaris will win the game for us, but it might be another big rushing day for our opponent.

Re: True Blue: Indianapolis Colts Official Team Thread

It could get ugly with AP but Jackson sucks. Hopefully the Colts defense can take their lumps, realize that they may not face a better running back the rest of the season, and move on. Part of me is a little worried about them going up against the Vikings D at their place though. I didn't watch much of the game this past Sunday so I can't comment on the offense and how they looked, but the stats weren't spectacular. They need to get Addai going.

By the way, my #87 Reggie Wayne (have to pick a former Cane) is on its way. I will wear it to any Bengals games I go to this year as well as watching in bars. The Carson Palmer jersey is going to get dusty until Mike Brown is gone.

I know that is't an utter impossibility....but how would Tony Gonzalez looked lined up on the other side as Dallas Clark with Reggie and Marvin on the wings?

Not many of us around. Guess a lot of the bandwagon Manning and Colts fans are afraid to show up this year. Oh well, 2 game win streak and a O-line that is finally getting healthy will help us this week against Houston.
