Hi, I'm in my 7th season with Mizzou. This is my 11th overall season and I just had my first player go pro. He was a 3 star point guard who I found through his high passer stats. I now attract 4 and 5 star recruits regularly and have noticed that some players have to play for a long while and get lots of training before they get pro buzz, while others have the "right" position grades and get pro buzz right away even though they are riding the pine for me due to some overtly noticeable flaw in their game.
Does anyone know how the computer determines what makes a player "special"? I can't figure out why it took 4 years for my starting point guard (3 star) to get buzz when my sophmore point guard (5 star) whom I had to redshirt because he was so erratic gets buzz coming off the bench and hasn't played nearly as much. The same thing is happening with my centers (3 star plays like a beast but gets no buzz, 4 star is "Lottery" coming off bench, both are sophomores).
Perhaps I can use this information to focus my training efforts for the maximum "buzz".
