I'm 36, and I usually only play football and basketball on the 360, whenever I get the chance to play. I NEVER play online because:

1. I'm not that great
2. Cheese and (lack of) sportsmanship

But every 6 months or so I try it out, and am always sorry I did. The guy I just played was up by 19 in the 4th (I said I wasn't that good), put Kobe back in with 2 minutes left to go, and took at least 3 shots with him, and a couple of 3s with some other players.

Is there a list on this board of players who play because they enjoy the challenge and learning new things? I always want to win, but it's not the most important thing to me - I figure winning will come as I learn.

Is there anyone out there that would be willing to play, and to give me some feedback? I understand everyone's time is valuable, and playing against a newbie can be boring.

Maybe you can post some videos of you playing. This way everyone here can see your game and give you tips.

Hmm...I'm open to that, but would then have to figure out how to do that. I'll see what I can come up with.

You can look for 2K9 tutorials videos on youtube. Some people made some good tutrials with tips on the game.

Don't worry, every 12 year old with an X-Box live account thinks they're hot stuff because they can shoot with Kobe and dunk with LeBron.
