well..I agree..but as of now wide receivers dont even try to stay in bounds so I doubt dbs will.

I''m sorry...I hated APF as an overall title, but the AI and animation was excellent. I agree that this is something that would really boost Madden. I certainly think Madden is heading in the right direction though.

Ian and company are laying out the fundamentals for solid gameplay now, and such improvements will be made in time. Madden will get to this point, but it will likely take several years before it reaches such awesome fluidity.

On a positive note, I have see receivers in some of the M10 videos miss balls in the endzone because of an effort to stay it bounds (in a much more convincing animation that looks fantastic).

I also think situational awareness will have more gameplay impacts in M11, since the means by which to present it are already in place.
