pitcher

hey guys in real life what are the number of pitches a pitcher can throw in a complete game?how many pitches usually do you see the manger to take the pitcher out? i ask because i am having troubles knowing when to take my guy out or to keep him in.

Well, there's a lot of variance, but typically, the threshold is around 100. If a pitcher is really going strong, a manager may leave him in for 130 or more pitches. For a complete game, again, it varies, but I've seen guys throw complete games with as little as 95 pitches or as many as 150. On average, I'd guess (I stress guess) that the average number of pitches for a guy who guys the distance is probably about 125

In todays game 100 is the magic number. For most pitchers a CG would take 100-120 pitches. 120 is pretty high though.

Guy's like Halladay can throw CG's in 90-100 pitches because they pitch to contact.

Usually around 100-115.

ok thanks guy for the answers. one more im using the meter to pitch and i notie alot of times i cant connect it to the line. any tips on how to connect?
