How do you play your games?

Hello OS community! I was just wondering how you fellow NHLers play your season games. Do you play every game or sim. Like me for now, I've decided to just play the home games and sim the away ones. I youst to play every game but would only get threw one season and be done with it. Then it would sit in the case and collect dust. So I've decided to play only the home games and sim the rest so I can go through multiple seasons and do some of the off-season stuff as well. How do you guys play your seasons?

Re: How do you play your games?

I play every game but typically with short periods (5 or 7 mins) so I can get through a couple seasons. I tend to get through 2-3 each year, I'd like to get through more to see my prospects grow but honestly once too many real players retire I lose interest.

Re: How do you play your games?

I haven't started yet because I'm waiting for the first rookie roster update.

I play 12 minute periods so I'll never play multiple seasons at that length. So my plan in my franchise is to simulate all regular season games (of course with the option to play any big games if I feel like it) and play the playoffs.

On top of that, I plan to create a separate franchise where I play through the whole season, playing games on actual game days.

And I do all of this in goalie mode.

Re: How do you play your games?

Interesting, I just started my season with the Blues doing the way I do it. So far I'm 2-4-1, not a good start . At least it will be fun to try and fight my way through a season and make the playoffs.

Imo...foolishly, no.

This is really the only major complaint I have.

Re: How do you play your games?

I would play every game but then I would get bored and not play anymore. Hopefully this new way I'm doing things will let me enjoy it better and play it longer.
