I have a Superstar franchise, a 76ovr SS drafted by the Packers. We create a ****ton of turnovers (double the second-best NFL team), but because the Packers OL can't block (who said Madden wasn't realistic?) the games can be close. All is good except for a ridiculous recurring problem: I give up one or more returns for a TD every game.

It seems to happen most often after the defense scores a TD. This last game against Pittsburgh - where we stole 5 turnovers, returning 3 for TDs - Pittsburgh returned THREE kickoffs and a punt for TDs. Since this is superstar mode, all these returns are simulated plays, and I have no control over them.

The way I see it, either:

a. The Packers have the worst special teams in the history of Madden, or

b. Madden is trying to level the playing field, by allowing teams to simulate easy TDs when my defense plays incredibly well.

Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I play good defense - it is on All-Madden, I just read a lot of routes. (I played SS in college and QB in high school.)

Seriously though, is Superstar just broken?
