Re: Catching

I have found that if you move the quarterback a little bit just before you throw the ball (like stepping up in the pocket, or just a little nudge to the left or right) the pass is more likely to be caught. For whatever reason, it just seems that the ball is better thrown when the qb is on the move. You don't have to call a roll-out pass, because those are almost to easy. Make since? just try it.

Re: Catching

NOoooo that in some cases can make it worse stay neutral when you drop back I guarantee you'll get better if you work on user catching DO NOT always let the cpu catch for you with maximum passing throw it in a spot to where you can switch in the reciever and catch it without getting in contact with the defender...just practice user catching

Re: Catching

Re: Catching

Perhaps you need to bump up Human Passing. I have mine at 6 along with Catching at 40, completions are pretty realistic.

Re: Catching

i had the same problem as you when i got the game just put human catch at 100 and hope for the best, and make sure you read the coverage and pass to receiver when in stride he will have a better chance to catch the ball.

Re: Catching

Manual catching is better then the sliders the cpu still does dumb animations user catching puts you in control jus hurry up and switch when the ball is thrown

I may give this a try, I always had passing at 0.
