I tried starting up a season to just play a short one until i wait for the all the updates/rosters to be done, but wasn't able to use any of my saved rosters in the season? all the minor league prospects and lineups weren't able to be used. I was able to load them up fine in Franchise Mode, but not Season.

Is this a bug or is it just not possible, because I know I'm doing it right and my buddy is having the same issue

I'm assuming there's no work around for this? Is everyone's silence meaning that you CAN'T use custom/downloaded rosters in Season Mode?

I would like to know this as well. I tried last night and it didnt work for me.

In season mode, you only have access to your 40 man rosters.

You can not set lineups, etc since there is no MiLB games to be played.

In Franchise you can play AA/AAA and use A roster slots (15), so you have access to all those lineups and players made.

You can only have access to the 40 on the 40 man in season.

yea but I can see all the minor league guys in Season mode and move them around from Inactive and such and add to the 40 man. In the custom rosters I have, if I add my prospects to the 40 man lets say, I should be able to use them in Season mode. I should be able to use those players and those lineups for the major league teams I spent time working on in Season mode.

terrible oversight IMO.

This is odd, I do not understand the issue. Can you explain it a bit more clearly. Sorry.

Ok, say I download rosters from the online vault. I go offline, edit the lineups, set up everything just perfectly and save it. These rosters I can use in my Franchise mode no problem.

When I go start a Season, when it asks what Rosters I want to use, I select "SAVED", then find the roster file where I made everything perfect. I then go into my season mode, and lo and behold, it's using the Default rosters for some reason.

No prospects, no fixed lineups, nada.
