Favorite Set Plays

So the best plays are custom, but some in-game plays are staples for me.

I LOVE the Jet Option run. I put my fastest WR for the pitch and it's often good for 15+. HB options are also great for short yardage and on the goal line. The QB usually takes it in untouched.

Play action passes are very effective too, especially the ones featuring TE's. The Broncs have one that is very good. I don't remember the name but it has 4 receivers slanting from left to right. Almost always good for a first down.

Re: Favorite Set Plays

The best defensive play is from the 4-2-5 playbook. It's called middle blitz. It's lined up like a 4 4. Both backers blitz A gap and the center ban only pick one of them up. The free runner usually can shed the HBs block for a sack 75% of the time (though it depends on personnel) I won a SB using just this play and a couple variations The problom is it is so cheap it's not even fair

Re: Favorite Set Plays

One more offensive play that I try to limit it's use is, the QB sneak, because it is gold evrey down... Sub in a great power back and just call it over and over and u can just decimate opponents...

Yeah Josh johnson is lethal with QB sneaks on 4th and 1, the MLB will fill in B gaps and the center will be left 1 on 1 with either the nose or saefty. If the center can open a big enough hole, Johnsons off to the races, once I had a 54 yard QB sneak!
