Can NHL2K10 Do This For Me?

I saw a copy for like (actually now that I think about it, it's NHL 2K10 for PS3) for about $10.

I really wanted to create an entire roster of legends, like 1990-2000s, when I've been watching hockey. So long story short...

Is there a create a player limit in NHL2K10?
Is the sim engine good? (Like do people at least reach 100pts unlike NHL 11's brutal sim engine, will be weird to have players like Lemieux and Gretzky not reach those)
And how is the create a team feature? Can I successfully create the Jets or Nordiques and import them instead of another team for my franchise mode?

Answers will be much appreciated.

CAP = 25 players

But U can edit players names, but not their birthdays

Lol 25...well I guess that's the end of the project for me. Even with editing it's hard for me to edit somebody like PK Subban's name, and have a black Eric Desjardins lol.

Yeah, that's really the worst part of 2K10 is the lack player creation and full editing abilities. Heck even if we could just edit the B-Days for the 2KCreated players, life would be MUCH easier. Your best bet for what your after is 2K8, which has a Cap limit of over 200.

Get 2k8 for the 360. Myself and TSELiot have rosters out with all historic teams named on them. Pure NHL fun!!

I like to think the sim engine is good, we definitely spent some time tuning it.

Create-a-team will let you make teams with those logos, and have a set of uniforms with their color codes, and you're able to replace a team in franchise with a created team.

The sim engine is good, very accurate really.

sim period length on 18 mins works perfect..
