Passing Yards Question?

Greeting, super friends!

Playing in franchise mode, when I poke around in the stats from the previous week, I'm noticing something strange.

For example, in week 10, the team stats says Pittsburgh had 220 passing yards. But under stats, Ben Roethlisberger is credited with 296 yards.

Yet Pittsburgh's running yards (100) match the added up running yards for the three RBs in player stats.

What is happening here? I even thought maybe the 296/220 difference could possibly be penalties, but the Steelers only have 45 yards in penalties, so the math still isn't right.

Re: Passing Yards Question?

Yards lost in sacks are taking off passing yardage.

Re: Passing Yards Question?

Sacks. The team had 220 yards passing, but Ben had 296. When you get sacked it takes away from you team passing total.
