why do night games in exhibition mode begin to get dark later on like in the 6th inning why not like in the 2nd or 3rd?

Because the exhibition games are based in summer, so it stays lighter longer. If you start a franchise or season it is dark by the 3rd inning at the beginning and end of the year.
