Difficulty takes a big jump from AA to Heisman

No pass rush
No run defense
No pass defense

CPU scores on every drive unless they turn the ball over

Umm.... Maybe you need some sliders and to work your way up. Heisman isn't THAT hard, it's just less forgiving of mistakes.

imo Heisman is the only way to go this year. Its the Only way the CPU QB plays semi competently.

I've played Heisman difficulty on these games for as long as I can remember. In the past, you'd be right about some of these aspects. However, this year, on default sliders, I certainly didn't see that. In fact, it plays more like the AA of old than the Heisman of old, it's much too easy to pass, etc. Defense has always been wonky in the NCAA Football Series, so of course Heisman shows that a little more.

Find some sliders from the forums here and plug some until you like them. I'm using Matt10's so far and have enjoyed them over some of the others I've tried.

I haven't noticed much difference from AA to Heisman except for giving up sacks. I normally give up a good amount of sacks around 2-4 a game but when Heisman kicks in i shoot up to 7-11 a game.

Simply not true. What sliders are you using? What teams are you playing as or against? Provide something more than three claims and one unfounded sentence or this thread will be closed as it provides no information and nothing anyone can do to help you.

Re: Difficulty takes a big jump from AA to Heisman

There is a significant difference btw AA and Heisman and at times it can feel unfair but thats the challenge of the Heisman difficulty - to hold you more accountable for your gameplay, make you work harder and hopefully help you improve - but it shouldnt be so bad that aspects of gameplay have been cancelled out.

If you're coming fresh into Heisman, before adjusting any sliders, I suggest you play it at it's default settings for a while to get used to the differences in the CPU's play. With practice, you may be able to take more advantage of it than it does you.

Rob, man, how is this constructive? There's some obvious frustration from the OP but there was no malicious intent - simply asking him for more info would have sufficed...

That's how I see it.. Guys that feel that Heiman is too hard need to practice a little more and work on the areas they are struggling with instead of blaming the difficulty for the reason they are having a hard time..
