Looks like no Clarice this time. I'm excited for the series premiere tonight (NBC, 10pm EST), but it's in the same time slot that crushed Do No Harm, coming on after 2 hours of comedies. Hopefully this does well so I won't go through the same routine of enjoying a new show and watching it get zip ratings and die quickly

Since I first heard the announcement I was intrigued by how Mads Mikkelsen was going to play Hannibal. Might watch tonight or catch on demand tomorrow if I end up gaming.

Interesting that creator/producer Bryan Fuller is talking about a seven season arc (13 episodes per season), with season 4 based on Red Dragon. Interesting, because there is no commitment to anything beyond the first season.

I have always liked the Hannibal character...Anthony Hopkins played him so good. Liking this show so far. Anybody think the guy playing Hannibal here favors The Rock?

Premiere was a big miss for me. They approached it all wrong, imo.

I don't know...it was confusing. For me the confusion starts with the main protagonist who is more messed up than Hannibal. I didn't even get the self description of him being a sociopath, with aspergers who is autistic. It seems like this dude has some type of superpower of magically or "radioactively" knowing what happened at a crime scene.
