cpu putting too much emphasis on pitcher wins?

whenever you look at the season awards at the end of the year, at least one guy will have a big era but he'll have like 17 wins in the cy young voting

one year this was the voting, 2 years down the road in my cards franchise

1) Mike Pelfrey 19-5 4.08 ERA (?!)
2) Justin Verlander 15-6 3.14 ERA
3) Greg Holland 61 SVs 1.68 ERA

this happens all the time.. usually the CY young leaders will go in descending order with wins. its annoying.

also when a pitcher will finish 2nd in the MVP voting but wont even be on the top 3 for the cy young....

I had a starting pitcher who won the AL Cy Young Award without leading the AL in wins, the starting pitcher was also the AL Rookie of the Year, and he starting the season in AAA.

Well when you look at how they pick at CY Young awards now they care about W/L mostly

Look at Kershaw last yr i think he had a 14-9 record and look what happened

Pretty sure King Felix wouldn't be a Cy Young contender if all they cared about was W/L

That's is one case where it didn't matter. Many people thought he may not be able to win it because of his record.

Zach Greinke won the Cy Young Award with a 16-8 record.
