Unhappy EA robbed me playoffs

How is 9-7 better than 9-6-1?

Re: EA robbed me playoffs

Did you lose both of your games to the Bengals? What was your division record? What was the Bengals division record?

A tie doesn't count as win, thus your winning percentage isn't going to be better.

I lost both my games vs. the Bengals and had a worse divisional record than them.

But I'm pretty sure ties should count as half a win on the winning percentage...

A tie isn't half a win. Neither is a participation medal.

But seriously, in real life, you would have saw the Bengals get the nod over the Browns. They beat you in head to head match-ups and divisional record while boasting the same winning percentage. My advice, take a chance on a 68 yard field goal in overtime to avoid that tie.

Re: EA robbed me playoffs

Per NFL NOTE: Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both clubs.

There are a couple of examples in NFL history, on 2008 the Eagles got a better winning record than the Cowboys despite having won the same number of games and having a worse divisional record.

NFC East Team W L T Pct PF PA Net Pts TD Home Road Div Pct Conf Pct Non-Conf Streak Last 5

y- Philadelphia Eagles 9 6 1 .594 416 289 127 45 6-2 3-4-1 2-4 .333 7-5 .583 2-1-1 1W 4-1

Dallas Cowboys 9 7 0 .563 362 365 -3 43 6-2 3-5 3-3 .500 7-5 .583 2-2 2L 2-3

Re: EA robbed me playoffs

Wouldn't it be logical that a tie is worth more than a loss?
