ATM can't connect to 2K servers, or PSN servers.

Why can't 2k afford decent servers? Their servers are garbage. If you're going to alter the prices to try and force people to buy VC through micro transactions, then at least get some better servers.

@2KSupport: The #NBA2K14 dev team is aware of the reports coming in regarding connectivity issues. Investigating now.

I don't think this is just 2K. I can't play need for speed: rivals either because I can't connect to the EA servers.

These past couple days demonstrate exactly why gamers were so opposed to only-only. When you have everyone opening up consoles and trying to connect all at once, you're bound to have connectivity issues. From a gamer's perspective though, that is not our problem. Consumers pay for the game; it's only reasonable that we expect to be able to play and fully enjoy every aspect of the game, whenever we choose to...not when it is convenient or when the server is functioning.

If you can't prepare for and avoid connectivity issues, then you have absolutely no justification to make your product online-only.

VC was the worst thing to ever happen to 2k sports. I'd rather play against 7 footers with 99 overalls in the park than deal with the crap we've had to deal with this year. MyCareer/MyGM should be COMPLETELY offline. And rosters should never ever EVER be tied to the servers. I have no idea what they were thinking removing them from the hard drive.
