Any tips for the Allen Iverson tournament?

Having a ton of trouble. I got to the first seed in RTP, and did all the other single player tournaments and the sapphire pippen tournament, but I have done this multiple times and have got to the 4th game as my farthest.

Any tips at all? I get killed my Hakeem and Shaq all game and jordan james cheese doesnt help.

I have:

Rondo
Jordan
Pippen saph
jefferson
wilt

nique
russel
howard

You need a PG who can get buckets for sure.

Re: Any tips for the Allen Iverson tournament?

It definitely would not hurt to try to get some 3 point shooting on your squad. If you can grab JR or Melo they can help in that category with the right signature skills, emerald DeRozan can be a huge help as well. Another suggestion, if you never use the attribute boosts, you probably have a bunch of + 6 3pt boosts, I would just throw those on Jordan if I were you. If you have any form of KD I would get him involved cause he can light it up as well. My lineup was:

PG: Oscar Robertson, Isaiah Thomas
SG: Michael Jordan (90-91), JR Smith, Demar DeRozan (Emerald), Tony Wroten
SF: Kevin Durant (Sapphire), Dominique Wilkins
PF: Karl Malone, Terry Cummings
C: Shaquille O'Neal (Magic), Wilt Chamberlain (70-71)

Best of luck!

I would use Tim Hardaway or Ruby Stephen Curry over Rondo.

You need someone who can hit the three whenever your better players get double teamed.

Get Ruby Curry. Put Bruiser and LDD on your starting C and PF. Play off ball defense when you can't guard the post (DO NOT HELP)
