What is your opinion on MyCAREER this year?

MyCAREER has been a very frustrating experience for me to say the least, I'm looking to start MyGM now so I can actually enjoy the game and take a break from the cheese in MyCAREER. What is your opinion on this year's edition of it?

An amazing mode ruined partially by the cheese. I get why they do it but we have difficulty settings for this and no NBA2K isn't Mario Kart!

I still enjoy it though.

The gameplay A.I. has many, many flaws and it frustrates me to no end, but I still love playing it right now. I think that once I start playing in MyLeague, coming back to the crappy A.I. in MyCareer will wear thin and I will abandon it, but I'm not there yet.

There are a bunch of things that reduced my enthusiasm, to name a few:
- Can't see team roster when signing a contract in free agency
- No playbook customization and not possible to see it, can only try it in-game
- Even if you're 65 overall you can displace a superstar in the starting lineup
- The way my player talks
- Not possible to see transactions between teams (trades, FA signings, etc)
- No playoff bracket
- playing in blowouts with a bunch of scrub teamates

Probably forgot a couple of things, but from the top of my head those really annoy me, I want all the info and I want the game to be as realistic as possible, hopefully at least some is fixed with patches.

But I'm still enjoying playing the game.
Edit: Stuff that bothers me is more related to the story than the actuall gameplay, and I can still get most info in other ways, like scrolling through all teams under player stats and see who plays where, and I only go to teams where the position I play is not filled with stars so me starting is actually realistic.

Disappointed in the still sluggish control of the player. Since it's an offline mode, why is there such a noticeable difference between MyCareer and other offline modes in terms of controller responsiveness?

Much as I love it; this is my single biggest gripe. You can tell they purposely axed your player's response times...

I like the cutscenes and endorsements ! Gameplay wise off ball and defense still feels sluggish . Honestly at times it feels like a chore playing . Not really fun. Mypark is fun tho

making it online dependent sucks and objectively decreased my overall enjoyment. also could really use some more polish- little things like coach subtitles just being pasted over the halftime stats while I'm trying to read them, or how I get off the bench only for the game to cut to a shot of me getting off the bench... again?

really wish they'd just make a cutscene based version of the my player in 2k12 to be honest.
