when you send out your scout in be a gm... how do you do it?

do you scout everywhere?

how long do you send him out for?

do you have any philosophy for scouting?

I usually scout for my teams needs. I just stared a new GM mode with my Devils and we need young goal scorers, so I've been scouting the CHL for forwards.

I usually scout the CHL more than the other countries. I don't think I've ever scouted "rest of the world."

Personally, I've always followed 2BC's theory of sending the scout out for 6 weeks because I feel that it helps me get a clearer picture of the players attributes.

Check your Team Ranking in which area (C, LF, RF, Def an G) you have space and need to expand.
Then You should primary search the types of player you want in the CHL. The best young guns in quantity and quality in Hockey Sports.

i think the more interesting question is when drafting... take the best player, or take the best player that fits a need

In most cases I think "the best Player"!
If he doesn´t fit in my system, he could be a perfect Trade Option for a player who fills my need.
