I recently ordered a copy of this game and it should get here in a couple days. I plan to hop right into FPF (First Person Football) like I did back in the day. To me this the purest way of playing the game. Yes, it had it's limitations but they improved on it quite a bit from nfl2k4.

Anybody still playing this mode?

I'm a huge fan of 1st person mode. Like you said -- it has it's limitations but I absolutely prefer it over the typical "god cam". Even when not playing FPF I adjust the camera to a more on the field perspective. I think its a huge aspect that affects the way you play any position.

i still play this mode too. if 2k had included this mode in APF 2K8, it would be awesome, especially with the editors and modding that is going on now. yeah, it's the purest way to play, and a lot of fun.

I liked playing the mode time to time, but I kept the play speed on slow. Really liked that they had the option though!

Can't play this game anymore without an Xbox, though. I won't get it for PS2... can't live with the visuals downgrade.

I've tried it a few times, but it always feels a little awkward to me, and I end up losing interest in a short time. They did do a good job making it feel like you're playing football tho, and I wouldn't mind seeing it as an option if 2K ever made another football game with a career mode.

Just fired FPF up again earlier this week and I can honestly say there is no reason for me to play anotjer FB game.

The intense challenge of having to read a D at the line, and have to see the lanes like a real QB would...in my opinion it doesn't get me immersive and rewarding.

With a transfer cable, anything is possible.

Love it. Live it.
