i played now about 20 online matches. won every match with ground and pound. most of them in the first round without heavy exchanges with the first takedown.

Me too. Nobody seems to know how to block. I guess my trial hours helped because I can defend everything on the ground

I've yet to fight anyone who landed significant shots on me when I'm on the ground. Not saying that these type of players don't exist, but I don't find ground and pound overpowered at all. You have a lot of options at your disposal to defend yourself.

not saying that this works everytime but if i hit you with some good body shoots and the takedown follows i need about 5seconds to get into full mount. of course you don t finish everybody but loosing rounds by getting 2-3 times a round on top and get at least one advanced position is very hard. every striker is absoloutly ****ed against grapplestyle-players like me (greets to conor)

Punching and kicking is easy. Transitioning are easy. GA is a new concept for MMA game players. Transition denials are probably the most challenging thing in this game.
I'm not surprised that you are going straight to mount and winning via GNP so much. I can do the same. However, it's day 2 for most of the population. People learn things at different speeds. Not too many players are even decent on the ground yet.
I think we need to let this play out for a few weeks before claiming that GNP is OP.

There seem to be a couple top positions (crucifix being one) that seems almost automatic if you throw them bows
