I'm actually going for the pujols myself but I think it's better to use tix for multiple cards rather than just one

In my opinion it depends how good your team is. Not including relief pitching and my fifth rotation pitcher(a 92), my worst player is a 93. I've got one 99, a 98, a 96, a few 95s, one 94, and one 93, in the field. For me, spending all my tickets on a single 99 overall guy makes sense. No point buying a guy that's less or equal to a player I've already got.

Four of my starters are diamond and my fifth is a 92. 3 of my relief are diamonds and the next best is a 92. I could go for a 99 starting pitcher in the captains store. I think I'd like a 99 shortstop though.

My team needed more than one upgrade so I decided to use my tickets on Altuve from the captains store. I then sold my original Altuve and used the stubs (along with the little I had saved up) to buy Jose Fernandez, Dee Gordon, and Stanton to finish the Marlins collection. I'm pretty happy with my decision because now I have my ace plus a nice bench piece with Gordon. I don't like Stanton at all so he's not on my squad, but I'm really enjoying the 93 Hanley right now. I stuck him in LF where his weak defensive stats are negated a little bit. He has nice speed that allows him to be a plus in the outfield instead of a liability playing SS.

He hasn't changed since last year---I don't have him yet, he's going to hit really well for anybody, but his defense really sucks. If I could put him at first I would but he'd suck there too.

And yet, I will spend my hard-earned tickets on him anyways because it is Ted ****ing Williams.
