Perfect Game Speed?

I love creating teams in My GM/League and watching the CPU play each other. I always notice no matter what slider set I use the score is always really high. When I started playing on 44 game speed I started to see normal scoring games. I start getting final scores in the 95-105 range and it just looks pretty good. Granted the number of steals was still high which can be fixed with a few slider tweaks, but I feel like this is just the perfect game speed. I was wondering if anybody else has any game speeds that they found to be just right for them. Remember I do not play the games I just watch.

I've liked game speed at 55 for a while now.

I think 44 is way too slow, especially if you're watching games.

One big reason scores are typically high is because the shooting location tendency sliders are too high by default.

Re: Perfect Game Speed?

I have it at 43 and I'll tell you why. I'm not interested in how many plays or points are scored. I'm looking at dribbling speed and shooting . When I say shooting , I'm looking at how long it takes the ball to reach the net after release. When comparing Nba2k17 side by side to a real game 43 game speed gives me that similarity.
Another thing that 43 game speed does is prevent sliding and jerky jerky movement . It also opens up the floor by slowing things down and surveying the floor better.
This game speed works well with a user acceleration of 60 and speed of 50

I play with Game Speed at 42. It coincides with my slider design to emulate that "Chess" match.

I've played game speed at 45,46,47,48 all those are perfect as long as u leave acceleration at 50 and speed at 50 or 52 for a little more explosion.

Re: Perfect Game Speed?

It's a little difficult to get used to and results in some odd animations occassionally but I'm really liking the gamespeed at 55+.

Still testing, all the way up to 65. Watching as much NBA as I do, it's clear that the pacing isn't replicated with gs at 50.

And then you have the speed, acceleration, and lateral quickness sliders which also need proper tuning. We need more fast breaks in this game and we need quicker movements because the animations were not captured at NBA level speed. I'm also seeing less stupid shots by cpu and better user v cpu stats.

But they animations are a little clunky sometimes. Anyone have any input on acc/spd/lat sliders to match higher game speeds?
