My Career question

I would like to get this game for Christmas but i have several questions before buying it. I play only My Career, so:

1. Am I being forced to become #1 in the team in terms of scoring? I would like to create a player who supports the big stars of a team (thinking of playing C or PF). I would like to become a defence specialist esp inside the basket.

2. What is the best settings and sliders?

Yeah pretty much. Not to mention you're forced to play with 2 other players in Justice Young and Denver Levins that take up roster spots from legit other players. If you're interested in a MyCareer type experience I'd suggest playing a player lock MyLeague.

You're not really forced to do anything, there is no storyline and there is no path... there is nothing.

You just play a bunch of games and they'll show some cut scenes of you and Michael B. Jordan during that time.

You aren't forced into the #1 role but I think a huge majority of us go that route. Also, you can request to be traded and not have Justice come along with you so you won't have him with you and Denver is a 12th man so he doesn't really effect anything.
