Glitch - Why is this a penalty?

So in my CM as Aston Villa a played Leicester away and this happened. Why is this a penalty?

It's a bug - happened twice to me the exact same thing

Is it hands because the GK is not the last man? The defender is further back. Should be an easy fix for EA.

The only reason they might give a penalty on that play you showed in real life may be if the ref thought your defender fouled the man coming to the goal line (like tugging the shirt or holding him back as he attempted to get to the ball). That may be why if a PK was given in real life...as mentioned above sometimes EA's games will call fouls when one isn't apparent on the replays.

I didn't even need to see the video. This has happened to me about 5 times this year, exact same thing. Keeper tips a cross over the crossbar resulting in pk.

It's a coding issue I would assume. Imagine, the gk is allowed to use his hands INSIDE the box, but when the ball is at/over/past the crossbar the GK's hands are outside of this area...hence the handball. Happened to me all of the time on fifa 16
