Foul logic seems to be a form of AI rubberbanding in 2K17.

So, I have the NBA 2K17 Sim Community Sliders installed, and I have Shooting Foul Frequency set to 30 for the CPU. This is a great slider set, and it works well for the most part... but I've noticed that the SFF slider doesn't seem to work.

Anytime I'm playing the CPU team and I go on a 10 point lead or higher in one quarter, the game seems to ramp up the foul calls the next quarter, no matter where the slider is set. I'm playing the Surf right now in my MyLeague playthrough as my created Sonics team, and I ended the half giving up 7 team fouls in the 2nd quarter alone, most of them shooting fouls. This allowed them to come back from a 10 point deficit at the end of the 1st, to a 2 point one at the end of the half. This happens frequently, and I end up having multiple players with 3-4 fouls going into the 4th.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of this year's efforts from 2K, and they seem content of focusing on VC & esports, rather than balancing their game.

I believe this too. It seems dumb unnecessary things happen when the game wants the other player to get back in the game or take the lead. This morning in a game where I was up four points, back to back dumb fouls happen. They were both the same situation were you get an offensive rebound but your teammate chooses to run a guy over for no reason.
I'm like here comes old 2K come back BS.

I've seen Mutombo Foul Rondo on a floater attempt back to back just so the CPU could bring the game within 1.
