Which plays a better game against CPU opponent: M15 or M16?

I am looking to pick up a Madden game cheap (since I am more of an NCAA guy, but that isn't an option right now). I play offline games against the cpu where I pick a team and then play a season or two before starting over with a new team.

I am most concerned with which one plays more realistically and gives the most realistic stats, and has working sliders (I have learned that not all versions of Madden have all their sliders working so I figured it was best to ask).

'16 is a really good game. There's things that work better still than '17 including sliders.

Yep, 16 is a really good game overall. Didn't mess with the sliders enough to say if they worked better than one version or another.
Overall it was a good game

Lol. Yup, I agree with this, 100%. 16 was a big jump from 15 in the right direction. I actually only played 15 for a few months, and it just didn't do it for me. I played 16 ALL YEAR LONG!! I'll probably play 17 all year, as well. But, between 15 and 16, gotta pick 16, for sure.

I would actually pick 13 over 25 and 15, actually, as well. I think that's a minority position, but I really liked the organic feel of 13. Lol. Everyone complained about the wonky animations, but I actually enjoyed that game a lot. Just, some extra FYI. Lol.

16 and its not even close. 15 is unplayable because no matter what you do the CPU QB are so stupid that they hold on to the ball way to long way to often that results in getting like 12 sacks a game and it is a game killer for a few reason. Not only does it hurt some stats but also to often a drive that should have resulted in a FG attempt will instead result in being out of FG rang and having to punt because of taking sacks they should never take that end up being the reason they are kicked out of FG rang in the first place. Also some times drive that may have ended in a TD will end up with only a FG because of taking a sack they shouldn't and there are a lot of turnovers on fumbles that wouldn't have ever happened if the CPU didn't take a sack they shouldn't have in the first place.
