Experience with streaming PS4 games to a different tv/monitor?

Now that I'm living with my girlfriend the living room tv is not always available. Do any of you have experience with streaming the feed from your PS4 to a different tv or monitor?

Is Playstation TV the way to go? Is there too much lag for sports game to work well?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yeah that's what made me think of it. I don't have a high quality monitor, but I do have a solid TV in the bedroom. Not sure if it would be better to stream it to the bedroom TV, or to upgrade my computer/monitor and use remote play to that.
