Overpowered goalies?

Hey all,
I've noticed that this year (for myself, at least), CPU goalies are unbeatable. I play on All-Star modified full-sim sliders, and I absolutely cannot score no matter what I do.
It's not uncommon for a goalie to make a 50+ save shutout against me, no matter how many pucks I put on net. I would understand if these were Vezina winners...
but it's every goalie.
I have lowered CPU goalie sliders significantly, and increased human shot accuracy. Still no dice.
Are others experiencing superhuman goaltending from the CPU?

They're definitely not overpowered. I've actually moved all of the goalie sliders to at least 75, and lowered shot accuracy. Goal scoring in this game is finally to the point where it should be, where the user can't just walk in a get a glitch goal every time.

Try varying your attack. Use different coaching strategies and pressure. Make sure you're getting traffic in front of the goalies, and find a way to get your guys into good scoring positions.

Re: Overpowered goalies?

you have to be creative in your attack on net.

shooting from an angle when the goalie is facing you,,he will save 99% of the time.

Try a number of passes to get the goalie out of position before shooting.
Try a deke move just before shooting
Lift of on your players acceleration button when shooting,,it improves accuracy

Exactly. And know that sometimes, you're just going to run into a hot goaltender.

Re: Overpowered goalies?

I actually find it harder to score on All-Star than on Superstar.

Goals are there though. Can't keep doing the same thing. Work the puck, get shots from the point with traffic in front.

This is the best goalie play we have had in a long time. There are not as many cheap goals as there was in years past, you actually have to look for your shots and get traffic in front of the net.
