I started editing a custom roster a while back. Are the only shoes I'm able to equip players with are the shoes that were available when I first started editing the roster? Even in my league?

I found a work around in myleague go into scouting and edit a prospect and change their shoes the latest shoe update will be there. Then go back to the nba roster and the shoes will be there as well as New Jersey’s

All I do for myleague is after i make a new save. Just back out then go back in, the updated jerseys, shoes, colorways will be in there.
