Basic rundown of the character: Spoiler Been around since 1940 Was more popular than Superman during that timeframe He's a kid named Billy Batson, and when he yells out SHAZAM!, turns into a superhero SHAZAM is an acronym, and gives Billy the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury.
