Start Today change?

Ok, so I just decided to start a new ML save and I go to Start today and everything works fine until I notice for some reason all players in the game moved up one year on their contract. So as I start ML on 8th June 2018 Kawhi, Kyrie, Klay all of those guys are FAs immediately in the first season in addition to LeBron, KD etc.


But I also started a new ML save yesterday and everything was fine. The only difference was yesterday I had to simulate game 4 of the finals, but today it was already done and put me in the offseason. So is there any way I can change the date on my computer/steam/in the game and 'start today' yesterday?


EDIT: I tried changing the date on my PC but it didn't work... Anyone?

I don’t have an answer, but I’m curious to find out because I’m considering buying the game today if I can truly start MyLeague today, with current rosters and the upcoming draft, etc., etc. But if contracts are all messed up, that’s no good. Kawhi and Kyrie both have 2 years left after this season.

It only shows 1 year left if a player has a 2 year with either player or team option on it. Kawhi, Kyrie, Klay will likely all be FA in the 2019 off-season due to contract opt outs.

Yes, but they shouldn't be FAs in the summer of 2018 and they are if I start Start Today today.

Yeah I got that too, it's all messed up. Plus the Cavs got the 30th pick as if they won the finals.

It does everywhere. I'm both on PC and PS4.
