List of what counters what

I'm trying to make a list of all the rock, paper, scissors type counters built into this game. This list is incomplete. Help me correct and expand it. What am I missing? What did I get wrong? What should be explained better?

Straight Punches (Jabs, Rear Straights, Uppercuts)
countered by
-Side Sways
-Ducks
-Side Steps

Hooks
countered by
-Ducks
-Back Sways (all Major Back Sways, Minor Sways if you are far enough away)

Uppercuts
countered by
-Side Sways
-Back Sways (all Major Back Sways, Minor Sways if you are far enough away)

Head kicks
countered by
-Ducks
-Back Sway (if you are far enough away)

Overhands
countered by
-Ducks
-Sway to the side the punch is coming from
-Back Sway (if you are far enough away)

Body Punches
countered by
-Uppercuts
-Rear Elbow (depending on fighter heights)

Forward Pressure
countered by
-R1R2 arm out evasive retreat
-Straight punches while moving backward create more distance from your opponent

Multiple Jabs
countered by
-Overhand on the same side as their jab

Takedown Attempts
countered by
-Uppercuts
-Knees
-Flying Knees
-Front Kicks to the Head

Ducking
countered by
-Uppercuts
-Knees
-Front Kicks to Head

Side Sways
countered by
-Hooks
-Round Strikes (especially on the side your opponent is leaning)

Back Sways
countered by
-Rear Straight Punch (unless your really far away)

James if you duck the first hook thrown the second tracks your head .

The back lean is safe but risky as you are coming back from that position. Definitely not safe against lunging double hooks .

I could be wrong tho ...open to correction .

Knees and Front kicks to the head will also counter ducking.

Rear Elbows can counter bodyshots depending on fighter heights.

And Knees, Flying Knees and front kicks to the head can counter TDs.

Good list though. Handy stuff.

The hooks are so annoying. Once you start using slips to avoid them, they start throwing body kicks and just alternate between those and the hooks. End up having to just walk forward holding block like Gaethje.

Quite right ...hooks are deadly in this game . Especially the lunging hooks .

Don't get me started on the animation it's just off IMO .

Isn't that universal for all head movement? I feel like no single sway or duck will dodge two strikes in a row. The second will always track you, I think but haven't tested.

Thanks! I'm adding these to the list!

What about front kicks to the body? They seem like they'd be the right height for some damage, do you know if they land on a ducking opponent?

They will, but the connection isn't reliable IMO.
Sometimes they'll just connect to the body and push the opponent back or they'll hit the head but not do near as much damage as they should.

They're viable, but the high version has a few other perks in that it'll connect if they don't duck and it can't be caught.

A benefit to both body and head versions you can use it at point blank as a pretty reliable knee, too.
