Game difficulty being determined by sliders

Guys I hate to say this but every since the game’s difficulty has been determined by sliders, it has broken the gameplay. If you don’t believe me, download a slider set that has all the sliders set at 50 like the old 2K games. I haven’t seen this much clipping of players ever in a 2K game until they added this feature in 2K17. Guys we need to ask the 2K devs to remove this so we can enjoy our game once more. A game’s difficulty should never be determined by sliders. Bring the old style from 2K16 & before. God bless 2K lol

The game difficulty has always been tuned by some kind of slider, the only difference is that now we can see what's being changed (which is an improvement). Makes it much easier to fine tune the difficulty exactly how you like it.

Changing this has nothing to do with players or the ball clipping through each other. That probably has something to with the new "animation system" they put in this year that allowed for smoother animation transitions. I think it's an improvement over 2k16, personally, and we're not getting rid of clipping in games anytime soon. They can't get rid of it in games where it seems easy to, let alone a game where you have 10 dudes bumping into each other constantly.

As long as it doesn't affect the outcome of the game, it doesn't bother me, and most of the time, it doesn't. When I played NHL 16, every other game had a goal scored where the puck went through the goalie. Turned me off hockey games a little hehe

I could not disagree more. Knowing that the sliders I choose determine how The game plays makes it much more engaging for me because I know that the game is going to play the way I want it to play. For example I tend to turn my sliders up so that if I leave a player open he’s more than likely going to knock down the shot even if he’s not a great shooter and that implored me to find ways to play better defense. For sure he takes a bit of tweaking and tuning but I think having the sliders dictate how the game plays is the best thing to 2K has done from a difficulty standpoint as opposed to having some nebulous term like Hall of Fame dictate the difficulty.
