Mouse Controlls Keep Popping Up

Mouse control keep popping up pre-play for anyone else even when using a controller?

the game engages the mouse when switching on defense too. anyone i switch to just starts strafing.

No solution yet other than moving around the left stick when the cursor comes up

i feel better knowing it’s a system-wide glitch and not a problem on my end. just saved me hours of pointless troubleshooting thanks guys!

in the meantime looks like im playing as DL only until this gets patched.

This was bothering me so much that I finally found a free utility to help. Just Google Softpedia Mouse Trapper 2.0 and you'll be able to get this simple app. I just run it and start Madden, then move my mouse pointer to the edge of the screen and, voila! No more mouse pointer during the game.

It just goes to show us, no matter the problem, someone will almost always have a solution.

This occurs if you are using the DS4 Controller program or a logitech controller.

The fix is tedious but simple and works.

1. Launch Madden with your controller disconnected and DS4 program off.

2. Once Madden is launched DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS ON YOUR KEYBOARD OR MOUSE. Hit the windows key on your keyboard to go back out to desktop

3. Now launch DS4 and connect your controller. Go back into Madden.

4. Now you should be able to use your controller as normal.

It needs to be patched but this will fix the issue.

It happens on the Xbox controller too.
