Player sweat (PS4)

Are the player sweat mechanics working for you guys I play 10 min quarters with player fatigue on and the fatigue slider set at 55 and I am seeing little to no sweat on players all the way into 4th quarters of games, esp. Compared to the screenshots 2k released before the game came out.

My friend who has the xbox version told me he sees player sweat in his game so I wonder if this is a PS4 issue or are my settings causing no sweat to show.

I play 12 minute periods and I rarely see any sweat at all just like last year's game. But in practice and blacktop modes they sweat like crazy. Im guessing it's either a bug or I just don't get 2k logic on sweat effects. Maybe you can get sweaty but if a timeout is called it erases it like they've toweled off idk

Only shows up in replays and camera close up shots from the looks of it.

That sucks wonder why 2k got rid of live gameplay sweat, 2k16 and 2k17 had it if I recall correctly.

It might be a regular PS4 vs Pro glitch or something.

I have a Pro and a 4K HDR TV and sweat shows up fine when I do instant replay or when players get closeups like in free throws or interviews.

I also think there's a possibility that sweat isn't rendered when players are on the court because 2K thinks we wont notice when we're just playing on broadcast or 2K cam.

Its not just on the ps4 because I play it on xbox x and same stuff

I play on the Pro version but yea its just a cutscene/instant replay situation when it comes to player sweat, kind of a cheap workaround on 2ks part not to include real time sweat in the game

Definitely a disappointment considering the initial screenshots of the game had guys dripping sweat. It's better than last year, but still not good.
