MyPlayer in MyTeam is not mine

Just wondering if anyone else experienced a similar issue as below...

I created a 6'5" pure playmaker PG. I went through the process of adding it to MyTeam, but the player that is now in MyTeam is not the one I created. It's a 6'1" pure playmaker PG that looks nothing like the player I created, is right-handed (I'm left-handed) and is from UCONN (I chose UNC).

I've opened a case with 2K Support, but of course there is nothing they can do.
