Shooters not spotting up properly in transition

I’ve noticed my shooters don’t spot up properly in transition often cutting into traffic instead of drifting out behind the three point line.

I’ll often find Bogdanovic and McDermott a foot inside the line in transition.

Is it my style of play causing this or do other people experience it?

Outside editing the roster or lead passing is there a way to help this problem?

Im not sure why this isn't seen as a bigger issue. I know what you mean, and it was improving until this year.

I maxed out lots of the spot up vs cut player tendency and will be testing that out for a few games.

The spot up tendency is definitely broken. Even on drives and kicks my shooters who should spot up cut to the rim. I’ve been trying to counter act this with full receiver control but it isn’t consistent

Re: Shooters not spotting up properly in transition

There is an issue where some sig bases push the player forward about 3 feet as he shoots. It's not the problem, but it doesn't help.

This has been a problem forever in 2k. Still hasn't been addressed in 2k19. Players doing an orgy in the paint instead of spacing in transition leaving you room to attack the rim or dish to them for the three

This is one of those things that worked perfectly on release. Now my players run towards the defense. Cpu doesnt have the issue though.

That's the odd thing. There was definitely progression in 2K17 & 18. I'm not sure why it has reverted. Not only the fact that they fill the lane, but the angles they fill the lanes with just causes congestion.

I agree I noticed the CPU definitely spots up a lot better on transition.
