2k please Fix Player control wait times ( Why 2k??)

Ever since iv been ranking up the wait times to find a game are unbearable , some nights I just give up.

2k can you please put all star team up back in public lobbies and take away the ranking for team up.

Yes I know all star is in private match, but I’d like to be able to play it on my own.... 2k why are we moving backwards......

I think they should keep the ranking, because ultimately that is the best thing for the mode in my opinion. No one skilled at the game enjoys playing with/against a bunch of trash players, which was almost exclusively the experience for the past 2 years. There absolutely should be some sort of matchmaking to try and put low skilled players with other low skilled players and vice versa. All modes need something like this. Any online mode where wins and losses count, there should be some sort of matchmaking.

That being said, the wait times aren’t acceptable. I haven’t been able to get in a game for at least 3 weeks now, and that’s with me trying almost every day. I queue up the search for a game and sometimes forget I even did it, as I pass time by hopping on my computer since I know it’s going to be a long wait, and even then I still don’t find a game after 10+ mins.

They should set it up like other games do, where it starts by matching you against equally skilled players, but if the wait time goes over a minute or so, it expands the search to include a wider and wider range of skills until it finds enough players. I would then also ask that they identify the rankings of each player, so you have an idea of who the better/lesser players on each team will be.

The reason I say take away the ranking in teamup is because you get bunch together with people who just ball hog, turbo up down the court, and my favorite steph curry PG that take every shot at the half court line lol.

I was thinking maybe they should implement a casual All-star team up where you go in by yourself for fun, or a ranked teamsquad with friends ( pro -am but with nba players).

I also like your idea of where it expands the search to other ranks that’s a good one.

I feel like these things should be on the drawing boards at 2k meetings. If we can think of these things why can’t devs figure it out? Or are they trying to steer us toward my team and my player for even MORE MONEY ��

They absolutely should have a ranked and unranked mode for team up, to separate the casuals from people who want to play seriously. They should have a ranked and unranked version of every main game mode (team up, park, pro am, play now online, and my team)

I’d also like to see them refine the player tiers and improve on that for next year. I think team up should have some sort of team balancing mechanic where you can only select some number of each tier of player, as opposed to everyone just picking whoever they want. It would give the games more structure if for instance you could only have 1 gold player 2 silver and 2 bronze. Now those picks become important as it can have serious implications on how your team will work. If you want Westbrook as he PG, that’s fine but then you can’t have harden or Durant to pick up the scoring load if the PG isn’t getting it done.

When everyone is a superstar on the court, it doesn’t matter if you clamp one because there’s 4 others to defer to. If you can only have 1 or 2 gold players per team, now those players HAVE to step up and be the Stars because the other players probably can’t do it

Bruh, iv always wanted that to be in myteam, you can have 1 in the 99-90, 89-80 , then the rest 80 n below . Instead of full roster of pink diamonds lol
