MLB 18 Franchise setting

Very late to this party but as this is going cheap I'm thinking of making a purchase.
So my q is with the removal of season mode can you choose less than 162 games in franchise mode or is this set...thks

162 games is set in franchise mode. You cannot change it.

Not for me then.

For the past 3-4 years SDS have tried to appeal to the mass market to sell their game..speeding the game up,quick counts,making the hitting window easier etc.

Why then do they remove a mode that the more casual gamer would make real use of...mind boggling..

Were the dev team ever forthcoming about why it was removed??

Dont know if you can get it as cheap as 19 American dollars over seas but if you're looking for a shorter version of franchise , Postseason mode alone might be worth $20. I've played a ton of classic roster in playoff mode, some of the best baseball I've ever enjoyed. I know it doesnt really compare to even a short , season mode but it may be worth at least considering.

Hmm good point that. Currently 20Euro over here so close enough. Might be worth a look after all..cheers
