Carry Over adjustments

So I just carried over my franchise to The Show 19.
Is there any easy way to change back the players which became generic? How do you guys do it?

Also is there a way to update the face scans from 19 onto players which have been created with the OSFM roster I use from last year? For example Danny Jansen from the Blue Jays.

I don't know about face scans. But to answers your first question: manually, one by one.

Re: Carry Over adjustments

is it just the names that change - or do their attributes do too?

Names and appearance. Previous iterations the attributes stay the same. It is how I've been able to change back alot of no-longer-playing free agents using their height, weight, age, batting or pitching sides and baseball reference to match up their stats from the 2013 season (in my case using a 2014 carry over) to rename these players back

Do you have a workflow you can recommend? I mean it seems like a lot of work

Re: Carry Over adjustments

Usually there has been a thread with the players who won't be in the game or likely not in the game, I'd start there if one exists for 19.

I took a photo of each team's roster and the free agents per position before carrying over. I know you'll know most of the players who aren't there but this was for a little insurance for me as I'm getting a bit forgetful. Then I went through each carried over line up and edited the players who changed, or did that slowly over time (played through a few games, then took care of the AL Central, for example). For the free agents you're stuck with waiting for them to get picked up, so I jotted down who was who (Joe Jones = Luis Valbuena, or something like that). That was about the best I could do. Alot of work is in the eye of the beholder (or the hands of the doer). I really didn't find it too much time since there are a handful of guys on the teams that you likely already know, and I just dealt with the free agents when I needed to.
