Coach, owner or player?

When running your franchise what role do you guys choose, and why?

I usually always do owner, I wish they would bring back GM mode because that's all I would play.

Coach.

I want to run the team and make all the important decisions which directly affect my team on the field, but I have disliked almost everything mechanically about owner mode since it was introduced in Madden 2004. While I would like to have the complication of limited signing bonus money for player contracts owner mode introduces (that's maybe the one thing about owner mode I enjoy), I generally don't want to futz with parking prices or what have you.

i might go with owner.. would Scenarios affect owner too ???

I usually do 32-team control of all coaches. And during the offseason, after coach firings, I either retire controlling that current coach and create a new one (a real coach like a current coordinator i.e. Josh McDaniels, John DeFilippo, etc.) or take control of the owner, hire an existing coach who was fired, then retire the owner and take over that new coach.

Can any coach be fired at all when you do a 32-team control?

If you set fire coach to on....then yes.

Yes, user coaches can be fired if you have that setting on. If I do mid-season firings, I retire that coach and create a new one from that team's staff.
