Blocking in space is still broken

Nope.. It's just the Miami Dolphins playing really bad football. So it's actually realistic.

Every other run play has completely incorrect blocking from a schematic standpoint. Either EA has no idea what they are doing when programming the logic, or they simply don’t know what the logic is supposed to be.

There is really bad blocking in the real NFL. So you can call up plays on Madden or the NFL to show that but it doesn't mean it's the norm..

Overall I think blocking in space this year is vastly improved from my 100 or so hours with the game..

Yeah you do see some dumb blocking but most of the time it's improved a good bit. And as said above, you'll see bad blocking sometimes in the real NFL too..

It's only the bad ones we get really annoyed by and remember though lol

The bad blocking in space is super egregious though. I don't mind missed or failed blocks, but watching a player run right toward a defender and then change direction at the last minute and let the defender run free is inexcusable. It happens on every other toss play.

Unfortunately that happens far more often than it should. With all the things that Madden has removed from the game, it blows my mind that they still give us the ability to do a replay and in slow motion to boot.



For me to have any enjoyment in Madden, I simply avoid using the replay.

I don't need replay to see the mistake though. If you look at the videos it's very obvious what went wrong on those plays.

This isn't placebo effect, this is awful legacy code that's been there since madden 2005 at least.
