2K20 Post Up Thread

My favorite part of the game. We've grown so much in the last 3-4 year. Huge props to Mike, OG and the rest of their team. Just like dribbling we really BBQ chicken down low.

Post your favorite clips of post-up game. He's mine.

It's a miss. But you get the basic understanding of how to branch from moves. Where is in last year. I had to come under control before the drop step of below.

Re: 2K20 Post Up Thread

In 2k19 i am convinced that if you canceled an animation into a post shot/layup, then the shot timing will be altered. Which sucked because i have a habit of canceling into the dreaded hook shot if my man gets lost on defense.

Is this the case in 2k20 in your opinion? I havent purchased the game yet.

The lack of realistic and tight to the rim finishes still bug me, instead of sealing him with that dropstep and protecting the ball and bringing it tight to the glass, you do the dropstep then some odd looking one legged leaning shot to the right, i just hate the animation selection and tendency in these games down low now.

Re: 2K20 Post Up Thread

Drop stepping into a dunk seems to be working better than last year for me.
You can also drop step from further away this year and get awesome animations.

I dont like up&unders as much this year though.

And hooks are simply OP

I actually like the up and under this.

I don't agree with Hooks being OP. We haven't been able to hit hooks in a few years now. You can actually get great contest down low.

Re: 2K20 Post Up Thread

I'm a big fan of the post game this year. No good clips yet as I'm still learning what I can do. Pulled off a drop step dunk with Zion and I was hype
