Queen City Sports: Cincinnati Royals (NBA 2k20)

Introduction:
The NBA announced two new franchises as Seattle earn a team, who many expected as they will be returning the SuperSonics. The surprise bid was Cincinnati earning a team. Many thought Vegas would but Cincinnati earned the 32nd team. They will be named the Royals as the got the approval from Sacramento Kings to use the naming rights. Both teams will participate in the 2019-2020 season so they have a short offseason to begin their franchises.

Re: Queen City Sports: Cincinnati Royals (NBA 2k20)

Season Preview:
October 21, 2019-
The Royals surprised everyone this offseason by going out and trading for 2nd overall pick for Zion Williamson. Two picks later they traded for Otto Porter and the 4th overall pick to get Darius Garland as well. Then they shocked the world by landing Kawhi Leonard in free agency. They filled out their roster with vets like Isaiah Thomas, Pau Gasol, and Lance Stephenson. Unfortunately for Cincinnati fans they will have to wait till October 29th, the teams 6th game, to see the Royals home opener. With this starting 5 on paper they easily can compete in the East. Pushing into a division race with the Bucks might be a stretch. The only way this team doesn't compete for the playoffs is a disappointing season from their rookies, or an injury as the big question on this team is depth. They have very young with a mix of very old, let's see if Jerry Stackhouse can get that mix to work.
