Does anyone know when you're kicking a FG, if you stop the line at the top of the meter (in the red) if that allows you to kick the FG at max distance, but you get penalized in accuracy?

Or, does stopping the line at the "perfect kick" area, give you max distance?

seems like it would be pretty easy to test in practice mode.

The red grants a few percentage points extra power, I think it's like 102% or 104% or something along those lines but there really isn't much in the way of accuracy penalty with the kick meter. The light blue area is virtually identical to the "perfect area" in terms of accuracy unless you're in the rain and stopping the line in that area only prevents your kick from being blocked and doesn't grant any additional distance AFAIK.
